Weekend Adventure

This weekend I went on a little adventure.  It's been a long time since I took the day off and just hit the road.   So much has been unfolding in my life lately that I needed to get away.  I am a snake in the process of shedding it's skin.   Sometimes growth is amazing.  Sometimes it's painful.  We just don't know until we are at that moment when we realize, I can't do this anymore.  I need to change!

So with that energy I decided that a road trip was in order.  #changing her life  came up from San Diego and I wanted to take her to the quiet part of this beautiful state.  We both needed to recharge our spirits and just relaxed.  So off to Port Townsend we went.   Port Townsend has long been a mystical place for me growing up.   It has one of the best new age stores in the state, Phoenix Rising.   I was being called to the store and to the area  for some time now.  #changing her life talked about wanting a psychic reading on our drive up and as luck would have it, there were two open slots left.   We decided to spend the whole day in PT so we could be the last readings of the day.   So we had a long lunch at  Sirens which is a fabulous place to write and settle in by fire.  They have the best Bloody Mary's and snacks.    

After an afternoon of snacks, drinks and magic making lists we went to the woods for a walk before our reading.   It was way too windy for a beach walk so I let my intuition take us to the a park that had the perfect path in the woods.   We encountered 6 deer.  Two driving in, two on our walk and two on our way out. While we were walking I picked up a beautiful feather.  I thought it was just a nice bird feather but last night I discovered it is actually an Owl feather.  This one has a heart in it.    We listened to the wind in the trees, walked and just balanced ourselves out with good conversation and fresh air. 

We returned to the store for our readings and were both blown away by what she said.   This was my first experience with a Tea Leaf reading done by the talented  Kristine Rose-Walsh.  She works at Phoenix Rising on the weekends and is always booked so get there early.   Kristine blew me away with her reading.  It was a mix of what's happening now and future telling.   She was spot on with where I am at this moment.   A snake shedding her skin but not fully in my new life.  Yet, I have this amazing future coming.   Things coming together in the most delicious way but still requires growth.   Lots of spiritual support and guidance happening.  She also saw Deer Energy in my tea leaves, not knowing we have just seen 6 deer!  It was the energy reading that I needed.  I am on the right path and I need to trust the journey.  Even if it is slightly uncomfortable as I move into Ritual Coaching full time.  

I left feeling balanced and relaxed.   Sometimes a Ritual Coach needs her own Coach and healing.  I always say, I am forever a student.  I teach my clients but I also need to learn and find support for my journey.   So this was the perfect hug of support I needed to keep moving on my path.  

We went to bed early that night because even if our day seemed all fun and relaxed, there was a lot of energy and magic work going on.  There is a lot of shifting going on and we needed the sleep.  Plus, #changingherlife had an early flight on Sunday and I had a day long energy class to attend.  

I spent the day on Sunday with Tay N Val working on personal power energy.   This retreat requires it's own post in a couple of days when I have integrated our work.  It was powerful.
